Oby Adventure: Development Update and What’s Next

It’s been two months since we released the first part of Oby Adventure. We’re so thrilled to see how many of you have downloaded, played, and shared kind words about our game!

Some of you might be wondering when new levels will be added to the game. To answer that question, we’d like to start by sharing a little about how Oby Adventure is created. The game is developed by a small team of just three people—a programmer, a designer and a musician. We work on the game entirely in our free time.

There are many great things about being such a small team. We have complete control over the process, can develop the game at our own pace, change direction whenever we want, and bring all our ideas to life. However, being a three-person team also means that development takes a little longer.

Right now, we’re working on several different areas simultaneously. We’re preparing translations for multiple languages, developing a long-awaited Android version of the game, and planning new online modes with exciting ways to compete and set record times on each level. Kiwi Kapow’s challenges will eventually become endless runners with leaderboards, Kiwi Mines is nearly complete, and Coconut Keys is partially finished.

Be sure to follow us on social media so you don’t miss any updates! We hope you’ll have a bit of patience as we work toward the next big release. If you’ve played and enjoyed the first part of Oby Adventure, we’re confident you’ll love what’s coming next. And if you haven’t tried the game yet, we hope you’ll download it and give it a go today. Don’t forget to share your thoughts about the game with us—and your friends!
